Super Car Driver ‘secret meet’ with Baytree Cars

Promoted as ‘A celebration of motoring like no other’, Super Car Drivers’ latest ‘Secret Meet’ at Donington Park certainly lived up to its billing today for our client Baytree Cars – with hypercars, supercars, Group C, LMP, GT1 and 90’s F1 cars, the event delivered action both on and off-track.

Super Car Driver is a members club for supercar owners in the UK offering a range of events, including drive tours and car gatherings for its members. Baytree Cars are a partner of the club, sharing many customers and getting involved in the SCD community.

Having organised for BBC Radio Derby’s Twiggy to join Baytree on their exhibition stand, we had a surprise in store for the morning show presenter as he experienced firsthand what it’s like to be driven at high speed around the Donington Park circuit.

Having interviewed Baytree’s Managing Director Chris Astle, Twiggy climbed into a Porsche Cayman GT4 for a supercar driving experience with driver Steve Patterson.

After several nerve-jangling laps of the track Twiggy returned to the pits, removing his crash helmet he was heard to utter the words: “That was fantastic, fantastic. I loved it.”
