Meet for Good, a new business collective for the region has signed up 2bm as a founding partner, offers business networking and development opportunities in a unique format, creating a platform where business meets sport and charity. Meet for Good was launched on the 24th January at a breakfast event at the new Inchcape Jaguar Land Rover dealership in Derby.
The launch event included a presentation by former professional footballer and chair of the Professional Footballers’ Association Clarke Carlisle. As well as talking candidly about his own mental health issues, Clarke highlighted various ways in which business owners can support the mental health and wellbeing of their employees and colleagues.
Mark King, Managing Director, 2bm Limited, said: “As a founding partner and member of ‘Meet for Good’, 2bm sees this as an exciting alternative in terms of collaboration – where business meets sport and charity. Business and sport dovetail in so many ways, now we get to meet not only like-minded people but also our corporate social responsibilities to our customers, our people, our suppliers, our local communities and our environment.”
